No longer wait till you get redirected

This really is not that important but, this is a dev blog so...
The annoying redirects that tell you you're post has been successful, please wait 2000000 seconds while you get redirected has been removed, instead you go straight to you're post. Enjoy, I guess.

New forum added

Well I kept debating on what to use for the forum. We originally used PHPBB2 on Ridenze v2, and I wanted to try something new, I had installed a bunch on forum software but they all sucked. So we've upgraded to PHPBB3. You'll have to re-register [again!]. Don't be afraid to point out what you don't like and any bugs.

Anyway, link here.

Add videos to wiki pages!

So I hacked around with this extension for the wiki that allows you to add embed youtube videos into a page. The correct markup to do so can be found here. An example could be found here.

Wiki is the new temporary homepage

Due to some unforeseen, um, we will call it "incidents" the wiki will now be the temporary home page of Ridenze. While you guys are reading and editing and stuff, I will work on Ridenze v3 in the background.

Originality is best.

It is not really working...

Okay so I got a chance to test Ridenze out some, and it really isn't working at all. So, I really don't know what were going to do but it is probably going to include recoding the entire site.

Ridenze v3 Prelaunch

We have worked out a lot of the bugs on the forums regarding logging back in. You all should be able to log in with your previous accounts on the forums and post, add spots, and add videos. I am working on a few bugs I have noticed, no definite time line when we are going to be done, but I can guarantee it will be sooner than I previously expected. In the mean time, if you guys want to help out, sign up on the forums if you haven't already, make a few posts, and use the other sections of the website and note any bugs you might come across. If you are unable to post, you can email me.

At the same time I have removed the Ridenze News blob on the main page on the wiki. All news will be placed here, at least until I find out a better way. The news on the wiki will slowly be replaced by skateboarding news.

The wiki will be connected to the main page by the end of the night.
