Lots of minor changes

Alright lets see if I can remember all this...

• Join date removed. Nobody cared about it, did they?

•New profile fields! Years skating and inspiration make a comeback along with a small about you area

•"Location" changed to "Hometown"

•Instead of posted by [username] on [date] the message on top of all posts now reads posted on [date] by [username]

•Finally, and probably the most obvious, everything has taken a switch over, from one side to another.

Mediawiki meet PHPBB3

MediaWiki and PHPBB3 users are now integrated. In order to log into the wiki, you must have an account on the forums.

Two things, once you log into the forums, you still have to log into the wiki. I don't really like it but I can't do much about it, I don't think. The same goes with logging out. You got to log out of both the forums and the wiki to be fully logged out. I will look into fixing this, but I don't know.

NOTE: If you had wiki account but don't have a foum account, it is likely you can no longer log into the wiki with that username. However, once you register on the forums with that username you should be able to log in to the wiki as normal. If you had both a wiki and forum account prior to registering, you are unaffected.

No longer wait till you get redirected

This really is not that important but, this is a dev blog so...
The annoying redirects that tell you you're post has been successful, please wait 2000000 seconds while you get redirected has been removed, instead you go straight to you're post. Enjoy, I guess.

New forum added

Well I kept debating on what to use for the forum. We originally used PHPBB2 on Ridenze v2, and I wanted to try something new, I had installed a bunch on forum software but they all sucked. So we've upgraded to PHPBB3. You'll have to re-register [again!]. Don't be afraid to point out what you don't like and any bugs.

Anyway, link here.

Add videos to wiki pages!

So I hacked around with this extension for the wiki that allows you to add embed youtube videos into a page. The correct markup to do so can be found here. An example could be found here.

Wiki is the new temporary homepage

Due to some unforeseen, um, we will call it "incidents" the wiki will now be the temporary home page of Ridenze. While you guys are reading and editing and stuff, I will work on Ridenze v3 in the background.

Originality is best.

It is not really working...

Okay so I got a chance to test Ridenze out some, and it really isn't working at all. So, I really don't know what were going to do but it is probably going to include recoding the entire site.
